A slight change to the usual Menorise spot, Dear Reader, as I continue the fun from a day out with a blogpal.
We were fascinated with Inverary so lingered longer than perhaps we thought. Which was fine. Nothing was set in stone, no appointments made; spontaneity the theme of day. This too was grand as it meant we were able to make ascreeching tidy turn off when we spotted the signs for Auchindrain Museum Farm.
Closed at 5pm meant we had perfect time as it was by now 3pm.
Again I will keep words to minimum from my side, so that Mara can share more with you in her own time. I shall let the link above and the piccies below do their own talking...
After enjoying a refresher in the tearoom in just good time for closing, we decided to head back to Dunoon and through to Toward Lighthouse for some more piccie ops, stopping at every turn of scenery!!!
We really did make the most of the day. I have shared Toward with you previously, so not repeating here.
It was nearly 8pm before we crawled up the stair to the flat again. Both tired, both happy and both slept soundly!

A long cabin quilt in a stone cottage! Beautiful pictures, as always.
ReplyDeleteI love the "living roof"!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you and Mara had a good time. She is a very easy person to have fun with, isn't she?
Luv, K
Great pictures, shows a simpler time, you simply eat after you wake not much cleaning up because the cottage is small then you head outside for a day in the sunshine.
