What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek

For those of you popping in the for the weekly roundup... today's is part of the series began last Tuesday under title 'Menoffagainorrhea [me-noff-again-or-rhea]; the condition of the endless traveller'. This particular set are an immediate follow on from yesterday; Dundee is the focus.

As we left the docks redevelopment, driving over the river, I managed a couple of on-the-move shots. Having crossed the Tay, Mac1 and I stopped for a look back at the road bridge and the harbour. Usually, I save all shipping for Tuesdays over at TAKE blog, but these are not quite up to the grade as they were taken in poor weather, with full stretch of the zoom lens and no monopod for support. Fuzzy. Still fun though.

Chaffinches, clinging on by a feather in the high wind!

Next, we drove a couple of miles along the South bank to the famous rail bridge. If you biggify the first one you will see the curve...

...and if you biggify this one you can read about the history - it is quite clear.

That's the Edinburgh flyer!!!  To finish today, a different use for 'shipping'.

Tomorrow, we head back over the water...

  5. My assistant would not do well on that bridge either. Love the contrast between the beautiful birds and the trains.
